Dear Amy,
It's almost time for the holidays to come. Not sure how to handle it being alone, any recommendations?
Signed,
Single & Shy
Dear Single & Shy:
One is never really alone. My recommendation is to just reach out. Pick up a phone to somebody you know and like and see if there's room for one more? Don't have that type of situation? Then be creative and look in your local newspaper, public bulletin boards and see who's organizing an open ended function. None of those appeal to you, then think about creating a gathering yourself and put the word out there. Still not an option then consider doing a virtual option. Such as joining or creating an online chat group, or discussion group.

Dear Amy,
Times seems to be going faster. It seems like just yesterday that I just finished high school and now today I am getting ready for retirement. I am not ready to stop being active. I am confused as to where do I go from here.
