Native American Medicine Wheels, also known as sacred hoops,
were constructed by laying stones on the ground.
The hoop or the outer rim is shaped as a circle.
This circular shape is to denote the 'never-ending cycle of life',
for life has no beginning and no ending.
The Medicine Wheel is meant to enhance
the aspect of healing in its ceremonies.
These can be for astronomical purposes, ritual healing or teaching.
